sunrisers Hyderabad Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL Match Prediction

Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the eliminator of the Indian Premier League. The match will be played on the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium and is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM local time

RCB’s campaign in the Indian Premier League comprises of two extreme halves. In the first half they played like a team that was there to win, in the second half they completely lost their way. It’s not that they’re playing poor cricket, they’ve just not been good enough. All of their batsmen have some runs behind them, it’s just that they haven’t been able to score freely which has made them settle for a below par score. In the second inning, with all the dew around, chasing gets considerably easier thus conditions also had a role to play in RCB’s misery. So what can RCB do from here? They need to bowl first if they win the toss. It’s a very straightforward decision. However, toss is not something that’s in your control and if they’re forced to bat first, they should aim for a target of around 180. Anything less than this will be very hard to defend. Getting to 180 won’t be easy either. One would assume that Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers will have a big role to play.

For Sunrisers Hyderabad, they’ve turned things around in the most dramatic way. They’re coming back from 3 consecutive victories and are at the top of their game. Wriddhiman Saha at the top has been phenomenal. His blitz in the powerplay allows David Warner to set himself in and later capitalize on the start. Manish Pandey too have been finding some form in the last few games. Credit must also be given to the Hyderabad bowlers for keeping their reputation even after the injury to their lead pacer Bhuveneshwar Kumar. Sandeep Sharma has been brilliant along with T Natarajan and Shahbaz Ahmed. Not much need to be said about the class of Rashid Khan. The only loop hole in Hyderabad team is their middle and lower middle order that hasn’t delivered as per the expectation. Overall, it’s building up for an enthralling encounter but with momentum on their side, Sunrisers Hyderabad are big favourites to win the match

Kings XI Punjab Vs Kolkata Knight Riders IPL Match Prediction

Kolkata Knight Riders have been very inconsistent in this season of the Indian Premier League. Though they have 3 wins in 5 games, they haven’t played the way they’re known for. Their wins are a result of one or two brilliant performance but as a team they have been a big let-down. This approach can hurt them badly in crucial games. Shubhman Gill, Nitish Rana, Eoin Morgan, all have performed well but have been on and off in the tournament so far. They haven’t delivered back to back performances. Moreover, the form of Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell will now be a major concern for the KKR management. Rahul Tripathi’s promotion at the top has been a good move as Sunil Narine wasn’t giving them the starts they’re looking for. Their bowling has fared decently in the tournament and only if their batsmen can deliver, they’ll be on par with the best teams.

For Punjab, the tournament has been a sorry tale. They’ve lost 5 off the 6 games they’ve played and it’s really getting hard for them. The problem for Punjab is they’re too much dependent on KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal. Nicolas Pooran too played a brilliant knock in the previous game but apart from them, all other players have been very disappointing. Also their bowling isn’t the best in the tournament. Mohammed Shami is running out of gas, so does Sheldon Cottrell. The plan to play Mujeeb in the last game didn’t work out either. Ravi Bishnoi has been terrific but you need all your players to contribute to get the desired result. For them to beat KKR, they’ll need all their players to perform decently, else they’ll be 6-1 at the end of the match.
