Islamabad United vs Multan Sultans Prediction

Pakistan Super League couldn’t have gotten off to a better start than it did as Islamabad United edged past Lahore Qalandars in a closely fought encounter on Thursday. Historically speaking, Lahore Qalandars have been the least successful side in PSL and Islamabad United the most impressive one. Although things looked good for Qalandars for the most part of the innings, Islamabad United did well to come back from behind and topple Qalandars. The United will take on Multan Sultans on 16th February at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Multan Sultans are coming off a loss against Karachi Kings and will be looking to get moving in the tournament. The two teams are matched almost evenly on paper and it should be a cracker of a contest on Saturday.

New Zealand vs Bangladesh 2nd ODI Prediction

  • New Zealand will be going into this match high on confidence after having beaten Bangladesh convincingly in the first ODI.
  • New Zealand have a very strong ODI record at the Hagley Oval; they have won eight out of their nine matches at this ground.
  • There will be a lot of pressure on Bangladesh who now must win both the remaining matches in order to win the series.

NZ vs BAN Toss Prediction

The pitch at the Hagley Oval is expected to get a bit slower during the second period of play. And also since four of the last five one-day internationals played at this ground have been won by the side batting first, the team that wins the toss here on Saturday is likely to bat first.

Date–  Feb 16, 2019

Time 03:30:00, GMT +5:30

Stadium  Hagley Oval – Christchurch, New Zealand

Our Prediction

Winner –New Zealand

BAN Recent Form

Bangladesh now have five wins and two losses in their last seven one-day internationals. They came into this series on the back of a 3-0 clean sweep of Zimbabwe and a 2-1 win over the West Indies at home. The visitors suffered an eight-wicket defeat in the first match of the ongoing series against New Zealand. They put on a disappointing show with the bat and a top-order collapse left them reeling at 94-6 at one stage.

NZ Recent Form

New Zealand have now won five out of the nine one-day internationals they have played so far this year. After being hammered by India 1-4 in the five-match ODI series, the Kiwis have made a positive start to this series by winning the opening game at Napier by eight wickets. The victory was set up by their bowlers who knocked over Bangladesh for 232 runs and then their batsmen ensured that there were no hiccups during the run-chase.

Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators Prediction

Peshawar Zalmi is the second most successful side in the history of the Pakistan Super League. The franchise was the winner of PSL 2017 and then runner-up in PSL 2018. There have been a few changes to the squad that may require a little rebalancing of the side for PSL 2019, though. Peshawar Zalmi is going to start its Pakistan Super League 2019 campaign against the Quetta Gladiators.

TOSS PREDICTION

The side winning the toss is likely going to want to bat first

PITCH AND CONDITIONS

The Pakistan Super League 2019 match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators is going to be played at the Dubai International Stadium, Dubai. The weather is expected to be hot and sunny as it most often is in the desert.

The pitch at Dubai has been hosting an incredible number of matches and it tends to stay the same throughout. It is going to be slow, the bounce is going to be consistent but low, and there will be very little help for the bowlers.

Date–  Feb 15, 2019

Time 21:30:00, GMT +5:30

Stadium  Dubai Cricket Stadium – Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Our Prediction

Winner – Quetta Gladiators

Karachi Kings vs Multan Sultans Prediction

n the span of just a little over three years, Pakistan Super League has gained good recognition in global cricket picture. The fourth edition of the tournament is beginning on 14th February with Islamabad United taking on Lahore Qalandars in the opening game. The second day in the competition will feature two games, the first of which will be played between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans. Both the sides haven’t really done well in the history of the tournament and will be looking to get off to a flying start. With both the sides almost matched on paper, we expect it to be a cracker of a contest.

The Melbourne Renegades and the Sydney Sixers are going to be taking on each other in the second BBL 08 semi-final. It is a contest that most people expected to take place at the Sydney Sixers home ground but a crushing defeat to the Melbourne Stars spoiled the net run-rate of the Sixers.
